Manual Stay Adjusters (BTV – BTM):
BTV hand Wheel stay adjusters are manufactured in three
models for 1 x 19 wire stays ř 5, 6 and 8 mm. They are
supplied with foldable handles in order to make them compact. The use of
self-lubricating bushes reduces to a minimum the friction caused by the screw
sliding on the trapezoidal thread drive that allows for high axial loads. BTM
handle stay adjusters are available in 7 models for 1 x 19 wire stays from ř 8
to ř 22 mm, or rod equivalent. The tensioner may be operated by means of a
standard winch handle. The body is manufactured in aluminium and the double
extraction stainless steel rams, thus grant a longer stroke compared to similar
products. A range of quick release pins is available in order to equip either
inner forestay adjusters or standing rigging that needs to be “running” with a
quick operation.

Hydraulic Stay Adjusters:
Classical single effect cylinders supplied with ram release
through gas pressure. Such pressure is charged through a “pneumatic” valve. The
range is available from rod -6 to -150 in different lengths named standard, long
and flattener. These cylinders may therefore be used for various functions: stay
adjusters, halyard tensioners, outhauls and other tensioning devices. Upon
request, custom cylinders may be manufactured with different materials and for a
variety of uses: e.g. platform and keel lifting.
