Electric Motorization for Furling Booms (BFBME):

New line of electric motorizations for furling booms, available for yachts with a mainsail base from 5 m to roughly 18-20 m. The innovative device is made up by a self-braking electric motor integrated inside the mainsail furling mandrel. The motorization is supplied with slots to tie the mainsail tack. The mechanism is integrated by a mast connection toggle available with a manual emergency clutch upon demand. Being compact, light in weight, easy to install and thanks to its position mast-side of the boom, it represents a unique solution in its field. The system is managed by Boxtron, an electronic control of the working load.
