Bamar Boom Vangs

Mechanical Kickers:

Mechanical kicker characterized by an internal steel spring pushing up the boom. The range is made up by 5 models to serve boats from 30’ to 62’. The length is to be customized when installing the kicker onboard. The kicker is manufactured in silver anodised aluminium (black is available on demand). It is composed by two telescopic tubes equipped with special connection terminals integrating pulleys to form a compact line tackle. The line may either be controlled from the cockpit, or locked on the kicker using the extra tackle. The spring allows you to adjust the thrust with simple rotation of the upper tube/terminal.

Hydraulic vangs:

Range of vang cylinders available in the sizes from -6 to -150. These single effect (oil and gas) cylinders have a very long stroke. The compressed gas pressure may be adjusted in order to manage the pull required. These devices are supplied with a special valve allowing to mechanically lock the pressure, thus preventing pressure leaks in time. The gas charging valve may be reached even when the vang is in working position. Double effect “push-pull” vangs and custom sizes and strokes may be manufactured upon request.
